Did you know you can choose between 5 different brewing methods in the Happy Out Cafe?
In our Happy Out Brew Bar we can make your coffee in any of these methods:
- The Syphon
- The Chemex
- The V60
- The Aeropress
- Batch Brew
So, next time you come to visit us pick up your favourite method:
1. The Syphon
This is an immersion method of brewing, championed in Japan. It isn’t commonly seen around but makes a delicious coffee with a strong flavour and a lovely body.
2. The Chemex
This is a pour-over method of brewing. Not only does it look great on the table, its paper filter is much thicker giving a much cleaner coffee with great flavour.
3. The V60
This is also a pour-over method of brewing. Probably the most well-known of the pour-over methods as it is incredibly versatile and consistent.
4. The Aeropress
This is a very popular, immersion method of brewing, Only invented in 2005 and exploded in popularity in 2008. It creates a great cup of coffee with such a simple method.
5. Batch Brew
This is an automatic pour-over method of brewing. It has a bit of a bad rep from awfully made coffee in American petrol stations but if made right can be incredibly consistent and reliable. We choose one coffee a week to use with this.
Ask a member of staff about the available coffee bean selection, and they will brew it according to your preferences!
